Seems like forever ..
It has been a long time since I have come here. I hate blaming "the real world", but life has been very busy the last couple of months for us. One of the items that had us busy was a commission that Clancy had been given. What a wonderful feeling for him, to have someone contact you because they respect your work. I often think about how difficult it must be for the artist, whatever medium their art is in, to show their product. Put it, and yourself out there, come judge me. But the flip side to that feeling must be when someone commissions you. They have faith in you and your work, they know if they hire you, you will create a vision that represents what they see in their minds. There was a man retiring, he had worked at this school his entire career, the school is located in the Scarborough Bluffs area. The commission was to have the school in the background, the bluffs to be the prevalent focus. It was a fun project for him. This painting he did something he has never done
